WORK WITH KIM
A lifestyle method you’ll actually stick with it. Get the support and guidance to implement the Kim Shapira Method in a way best suited for you. Find your path and stay on top of your health, relationships, and nervous system. I offer individual therapy, group therapy, and a self paced masterclass to help you finally heal your relationship with food.
Individual Therapy
Weekly appointments with Kim. Appointments can be via phone or zoom. Meetings are each week for either one hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes. We will go over your progress and any problem areas you’ve had over the week. At the end of each session you will walk away with an actionable plan to make improvements to your habits. FHA/HSA accepted.
Group Therapy
Groups have 4-8 members and meet on an ongoing basis either weekly or monthly with a payment schedule for every 4 weeks. You will learn the same principles that Kim teaches in her individual therapy while forming an empathetic community that you can turn to when you're struggling with healthy eating. No matter your age, our mental health needs to connect with others when forming better habits. FHA/HSA accepted.
The Masterclass
The Six Simple Rules to Heal Your Relationship With Food and Actually Lose the Weight for Good. Designed for anyone looking for more balance, consistency, and confidence in their relationship with food. FHA/HSA accepted.
The Book
Dietitian Kim Shapira has developed six simple rules that will change your relationship with food forever. In "This Is What You’re Really Hungry For," she breaks down the science to get your brain and your body on board; replaces fad diets that do not last with a sustainable method that encourages you to eat what you love; and empowers you to be the authority in your own body.

Food allergies are life threatening and they get worse as you get older. Food sensitivities are temporary not life threatening and go away when you repair your gut.

No big deal. We will find a way that is best for you I can promise you, you will thank me. You don’t need to be so hard on yourself . It’s all about slow and steady, and progress. You will get there. And I will push you.

Oh, yes we will!. It all starts in your stomach. We will be Improving your gut health as we are working on changing your relationship with food.

Follow ups are sessions that can vary in length by need. For example, 30 minutes or 15 minutes in length. And they will cover everything from what went right to what needs improvement. At the end of each sessions you will have actionable goals with a plan on how to make that happen.

The initial consultation is a 75-minute zoom appointment where Kim will learn about your lifestyle, your relationship with food, your history with weight gain and weight loss, and what your future health goals are. At the end of the initial consult you will be ready to take on the world.

I work both over zoom and in person. They both work great.

Great question. I do not work with insurance companies. However, I can provide you with a superbill that will include all the important information you need for reimbursement. I do recommend checking with your insurance company first to find out if they cover dietetic services and for which ones the specifically do. It will speed up your process.
